The Grass is Greener on the Other Side.. Eh?

I'm learning to embrace the place where God currently has me. All too often I wish time would go by faster so that I could actually enjoy life. Good lessons can come from hard times. I end up missing what God has for me in the place I am. In all honesty, for the 19 years I've had breath, I've probably only actually lived half of that and simply passed through the other half.

I know, this doesn't sound like a big deal.. but that's because for most of us, it's a part of our everyday routine. It is for me.

Times can be tough. But when you are in those tough times, do you ask why God has you there? Do you automatically run in fear? Do you seek Him in those times? I'm not saying just "Why God? Why me?"
I'm talking about something along the lines of "Why do you have me here, God? What do you want me to learn from this? What is your plan for me in this?"

Times won't always be perfect, but God promises to care and protect those who are His. Trust in Him and embrace the place God has you. For grass can be greener on the other side, but when you are the son or daughter of the Almighty, grass can be greener in the place you are now.
